Alum Bay, Isle of Wight
A stunning view of the multi-coloured cliffs and sands at Alum Bay close to The Needles in the Isle of Wight. The sands are a mixture of Felspar, Mica and Quartz and their colours are caused through contamination from other minerals. The photograph was taken on beautiful sunny day with really calm seas. The brightly coloured reflections from the cliffs can be seen in the sea.
